So are these the boats who will be competing for the AC DOG Regatta next May?

I am soooooo confused? The top boat is from what I understand is Alinghi’s Cat and the bottom one is BMW Oracles 90ft monster. Are these the two boats who will be racing each other? Is this SNG/Alinghi’s …er practice boat till thye build the real one? Or this going to be a repeat of America’s Cup in 1988 between the “Race Horse and the Prize Cow”?
Does everybody else feel as depressed about this outcome as I do?
